[Caroline is over by the pool table, doing that creep vampire listening in thing on Stefan and Dawn's conversation. Somewhere along the way someone filled her in on things (assumedly) and she is very, very concerned about this vampire Slayer development.

Which is why she's very much not paying attention to whatever whoever is talking to her is saying.
