[She laughs a bit.]

Well, good. Honestly, between you and me? She probably needs it. She's been in Crazy General Mode ever since she met the Salvatores.

And that's about all the conversation I can take of my sister's sex life. [ She sighs. ] She gets the ex that sweeps her off her feet and I get the transgenic liar. [ she pulls her in for another hug. ] It's so good to see you!

[After seeing the lovely display of Slayer solidarity at the front of the Grill, Stefan is paying a lot of attention to the new girl who just walked in. Mystic Falls is a small town - they don't get a whole lot of new people. Add the fact that Anna knew her to the list and Stefan definitely is interested in getting to know her better.

He waits until she takes a seat at the bar near him before speaking up.]

[ After gabbing with Anna, Dawn takes a seat at the bar, not wanting Anna to be fired. Because that'd suck, their Mystic Falls in. So, she's just going to text a bit while Anna gives her more than she deserves. A DRINK.

And then there's a cute boy a stool away. After setting her phone down, he speaks up. So, she can totally try and kind of be suave, right? She looks at him. ]

We're totally besties. Best friends. [ She is a grown woman. ] It's been a few months since we've seen each other. [ A smile. ] I'm Dawn.

[Caroline is over by the pool table, doing that creep vampire listening in thing on Stefan and Dawn's conversation. Somewhere along the way someone filled her in on things (assumedly) and she is very, very concerned about this vampire Slayer development.

It's Not Good. At least in her opinion.

Which is why she's very much not paying attention to whatever whoever is talking to her is saying.
